Ahmed has over thirteen years of experience in finance, economic research, management consulting and investments for private equity and high technology companies in the Bay Area. She is currently at Google and previously held senior positions at Urchin Partners, Opportunity Capital Partners, Vodafone AirTouch, Deloitte Consulting and MARCorp. Originally from Bangladesh, she holds an M.S. (MBA) in Management and a Bachelors in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Sarah DiTroia is a Portfolio Director for New Profit Inc, a venture capital style foundation that invests in leading social entrepreneurs. Sarah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Martha Gallo is the General Auditor for JPMorgan Chase and has responsibility for the firm’s internal audit and fraud/investigation functions. Prior to this role, she served as Chief Operating Officer for Global Finance where she provided leadership for Global Finance’s operations and strategic technology agendas. Martha joined JPMorgan in 1981. She has held numerous positions including Co-Head of Technology, COO of Credit Risk, and CFO/COO of Technology and Operations. Martha is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She has also served on a number of other firm-wide committees including Risk Management, Technology Council, and the Corporate Diversity Council. Martha is a graduate of Cornell University, with a B.S. in business administration and a M.B.A. in accounting. Robert W. Glass is Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, Robert Half International Inc. Robert Half International is the world's first and largest specialized staffing firm. Karen Hovorka is a Global Recruiting Initiatives Manager with Accenture, focusing on recruiting programs in Asia Pacific and India. She has over ten years of corporate recruiting and HR experience with Accenture, The Alaris Group, LLC and Epinions, Inc. Karen holds an MA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Cornell University. Jane Leu is Executive Director and Founder of Upwardly Global. Iliana Quinonez is a native of Mexico with 13 years of experience in sales and marketing. She was the Field Sales Engineering Director of BEA Systems, the world's leading application infrastructure software company. She is also involved in community work with YMCA, May I Speak Freely, and Bay Area MANA. She holds a MSc from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Computer Science from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Barry Surman is Vice President of New Business and Strategic Development at the New York Daily News, the largest newspaper in the country’s largest media market. Previously, Barry was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, an executive at The New York Times, and a working journalist – including stints at the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times and Congressional Quarterly. He holds a bachelor of science in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. in Finance and Management of Organizations from Columbia Business School.
