Debra Means-West, Employer Network Placement Specialist

Debra Means-West is a specialist with experience in consulting, developing and delivering programs designed to raise awareness and promote the benefits of diversity in the workplace. Debra's focus has been on the development of innovative models and strategies that make companies stronger and more competitive through diversity and inclusion. Debra is an American citizen but has spent the last 6 years of her life living and working abroad in South Korea, Japan and Australia. Her experiences as an expatriate, a diversity consultant and learning and development specialist have provided her a firm understanding of the benefits to business of a diverse workforce as well as the skills needed to communicate these benefits to key stakeholders in the public, community and corporate sectors. Debra currently holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and is a Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor from ORYGEN at Melbourne University.
