Karen Rochford, Job Search Advisor

Karen Rochford comes to Upwardly Global bringing with her an extensive background in operations and administration, as well as many years of experience serving immigrant populations in both the non profit and for profit sectors. Prior to joining Upwardly Global, Karen served as Director of Operations at NYU School of Medicine’s Center for Immigrant Health (CIH) where she served as manager of human resources, IT, and budgeting. While there she also participated in various program related responsibilities. Before working at CIH, Karen worked for Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC as Vice President of Operations for more than three years, and then joined the Americorps / Vista program working for the Coalition Against Hunger, which included a one year stint at the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Karen earned her Master’s degree in Non-Profit and Public Management from the NYU – Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and received her Bachelor’s degree Magna Cum Laude in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
