Michelle Moran, Marketing Outreach Associate (New York)

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Arizona with honors in Economics, Michelle joined Upwardly Global as an Americorps VISTA. Her passion for eliminating poverty in the United States stems from her work as a community organizer throughout college working on issues pertinent to the residents of Arizona. She has managed campaigns focusing on economic development, sustainability, immigration, water rights, youth and education, refugees, and voter registration and education. Before joining Upwardly Global, Michelle studied abroad in Santiago, Chile and was an intern with the U.S. Department of Commerce in New York.
