Erika is seeking a position in radio, television or print media where she may utilize her strong bilingual skills as a journalist. In her native Colombia, she was Editor for the Arts Section of national newspaper and hosted a popular radio program. Erika earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, Colombia.
Spotlight: Marketing Analyst, Coordinator; Algeria (San Francisco)
Nabila is seeking a marketing position with a leading Bay Area technology, consumer goods company or financial institution. In Algeria and France Nabila has worked in sales and distribution of industrial materials and document management services. In the United States she is employed as a manager in the retail sector. Nabila earned a Bachelors of Arts in Trade from National Institute of Commerce; Algiers, Algeria and a Masters in Economics from the Pierre Mendès France University, in France.
Spotlight:Facilities Manager; Venezuala (San Francisco)
Giselle is seeking a position in facilities management with a Bay Area company. At the Union Bank of Venezuela, she managed turnkey office relocations and moves for 37 departments and several hundred employees, managing more than 25 subcontractors on time and under budget. Giselle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, at the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela.

Success Stories
Galina Angarova, Russia, began as the Program Manager of the Books for Asia Program at the Asia Foundation. In this capacity she is responsible for strategic planning, management and administration of the program. The Asia Foundation recognized Galina's extensive experience in the non-profit field as qualification for the position.
Alessandra Moore, , Brazil, started as a Case Clerk at the law firm Hanson, Bridgett, Marcus, Vlahos & Rudy, LLP in San Francisco. Alessandra will be working on labor law cases with one of San Francisco's oldest and most respected law firms. Adiam Gebremichael, a friend of Upwardly Global and employee at the firm, helped Alesandra identify this opportunity.
Naziha Norri, Morocco, began at Tankeen as a Case Manager in New York City. Tankeen provides direct services and is an advocacy organization serving the Arab immigrant and Arab-American community in New York City. Nazhiha will utilize her language skills and psychology training in helping new residents in New York.
