Medhi is seeking a position in finance and/or accounting management within the health care field, preferably a hospital. He has 17 years of experience within health care administration. In Pakistan, Mehdi held the position of Senior Assistant Manager of Aga Khan University Hospital. Mehdi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the top public university, University of Karachi, in Pakistan and a Masters of Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan's top ranked business school.

Spotlight:Research Scientist; Mexico (San Francisco)

Gabriela is a laboratory research scientist focused on biochemistry and molecular biology seeking opportunities to continue her lab research and work. She has over 6 years of specialized experience in molecular and cellular biology research. Gabriela is a published scientist and the recipient of a research fellowship from the Government of Mexico. Gabriela holds a Ph. D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Masters of Science in Biotechnology, both degrees obtained from the Scientific Research Center of Yucatan. Gabriela also holds a Bachelor in Science in Chemistry from the University of Yucatan.

Spotlight: Accountant; El Salvador (San Francisco)

Jorge is seeking an accounting or auditing position to apply his ten years of audit experience in banking and four years of progressive responsibility at Pension Fund. In his native El Salvador, Jorge held such positions as finance manager, general accountant, auditor, and operations manager within banks and pension funds. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting from the Polytechnic University of El Salvador and a Masters in Business Administration from the second ranked University in El Salvador, Central American University.

Success Stories

Waspada Peranginagin, Indonesia, began working as an Audit Officer in the Internal Audit Division at JPMorgan Chase. In this capacity, he provides auditing and internal consulting services to JPMorgan Chase's Treasury & Securities Services line of business. Waspada was the first hire through Upwardly Global's Premier Partnership with JPMorgan Chase.

Olena Lysenko-Saper, Ukraine, was hired as a Client Service Professional at JPMorgan Chase. Olena will be working in middle office Pension Funds Management in JPMorgan Chase's Treasury & Securities Services line of business. JPMorgan Chase recognized Olena's prior experience working in Treasury and client relationship management as qualifications for this role.

Rachel Caparas, Philippines, began as a Tax Consultant with KPMG this month. In this position, Rachel will apply her previous experience as a consultant with Ernst and Young in her home country, as well as her skills as a finance project manager with one of the largest telecommunications companies in the Philippines. Rachel was connected to KPMG through our employer network.
