Individual tickets and sponsorships are available now. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal or check payment.

2. If I buy a ticket and cannot make it, will I be refunded?
We would love for you to join us, but understand things happen. If you cannot attend the event, we will offer your ticket to one of our un/underemployed job seeker clients to share with us in our celebration. We are not able to offer refunds.

3. When do I need to purchase tickets by?
All tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in order for Upwardly Global to include your name on the final guest list.

4. Can I buy a ticket onsite?
You may buy a ticket onsite by emailing Aditi at Aditi@upwardlyglobal.org before noon on Thursday, October 11th and bringing a check with you to the event.

5. What time is registration?
Gala doors open promptly at 6:00PM.

6. When will I receive my tickets for the event?
No tickets will be distributed for the event. Instead, a guest list will be created for admission to the gala. Just provide your name or the name of your party when you arrive on October 11, 2012.

7. Are drinks included in the ticket price?
Yes, there will be soft drinks, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. Please drink responsibly.

8. Can I bring my teenager to the gala?
Yes, you may bring your teenager to the gala. However, please be mindful that there will be an open bar. Anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 will be carded.

9. Will there be a sit-down dinner at the event?
No, there will be a variety of hors d’oeuvres.

10. What is the attire for the event?
Cocktail attire, business or business casual is fine. It’s a party!

11. What portion of my donation or event ticket is tax-deductible?
IRS regulations state that certain items received as part of your donation are considered goods and services received and may not be included in your tax-deductible donation. As an Upwardly Global donor, the value of the tickets to the gala ($40 per ticket) is not considered to be part of your donation. Please note the entire gift amount benefits Upwardly Global’s programs and services regardless of the tax-deductible portion of your gift.

We offer different levels of sponsorship on both local and national level that drive sales, increase brand awareness, and present opportunities that tap into our enormous network of skilled immigrants from 94 developing countries that create global economic impact through our work. 13. How do I get to the Chicago Cultural Center?
You can take the Brown or Purple Line to the Randolph and Wabash stop and then walk east.
If you are driving:
From The North:
If traveling from the North on the Kennedy Expressway or Edens Expressway (Interstate 90/94), exit at Monroe Street and drive East to Michigan Avenue.
If driving on the Outer Drive (North Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41), exit at Randolph Street and drive West to Michigan Avenue.
From The South:
If traveling from the South on the Dan Ryan Expressway (Interstates 90/94), exit at Congress Parkway and drive East to Michigan Avenue and then North to Washington Street. If driving on Lake Shore Drive (Highway 41), exit at Randolph Street and drive West to Michigan Avenue.
From The East:
If traveling from the East on the Indiana Toll Road (Interstate 90), take the Chicago Skyway to the Stony Island exit, follow Highway 41 (Lake Shore Drive) to downtown Chicago, exit at Randolph Street and drive West to Michigan Avenue.
If coming in from the East on Interstate 90/94, continue on the Dan Ryan Expressway, exit at Congress Parkway, drive East to Michigan Avenue and then North to Washington Street.
From The West:
If traveling from the West on the Eisenhower Expressway (Interstate 290), which becomes Congress Parkway, drive East to Michigan Avenue, and then turn North (left) to Washington Street.
