Upwardly Global Training Team

We encourage anyone interested in multicultural training to join. Prior training experience is preferred, but not a requirement. We are looking for people with an engaging and enthusiastic presentation style.

What trainers do: Trainers co-facilitate two workshops for jobseekers per year. Some workshop topics are: Job Search Strategies, Interview Skills for Immigrant Professionals, Networking for Immigrant Professionals, and Surviving the American Workplace. To view workshop descriptions, click here.

Your commitment: After attending our Train-the Trainer session, you commit to preparing and delivering at least two interactive workshops per year.

What we provide: Upwardly Global provides the formal curriculum with trainer’s notes, handouts, and a 3 hour Train- the-Trainer session to prepare you. Upwardly Global handles all logistics, scheduling, supplies and setup. All workshop sessions will be scheduled at least three weeks in advance.

The selection process: The process is simple. Please fill our our online volunteer information form including your resume. We will be scheduling phone meetings to talk with interested volunteers about the Training Team opportunity and to answer any questions you might have.
