Dave Hill currently leads the Executive Recruiting practice for YouTube and is responsible for hiring all senior leaders into that organization. Prior to joining YouTube, he led Executive Recruiting for the media/entertainment businesses at Amazon (including Amazon Studios, Prime Video, Amazon Music, Kindle Content, Twitch, Amazon Games Studios and Audible). Before Amazon, Dave led Executive Search and Talent Acquisition functions for Microsoft, Expedia and Starbucks. At Microsoft, he led the International Recruiting Team and later Executive Recruiting for Microsoft International (based in Reading, UK). Dave has a BA in Government from Western Kentucky University.
Outside of work, Dave is passionate about international travel, having lived abroad four times and worked/played in more than fifty countries around the world. He lives in Redmond, WA with his wife, Gabriela and Australian Shepherd Callie Mae.
