About Hannah Pace

Hannah works as an Employment Placement Manager at Year Up in San Francisco, where she supports young adults develop career readiness skills and navigate the job search.  Year Up is a national nonprofit focused on closing the Opportunity Divide by ensuring that young adults gain the skills, experiences, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through careers and higher education.  Prior to joining Year Up, Hannah worked as an Engagement Strategist on the Community Affairs team at Capital One where she built strategic skills based and pro-bono volunteer opportunities for a variety of nonprofit community partners.  Hannah spent time in 2017 volunteering with grassroots organizations in Greece focusing on providing refugee aid and livelihoods training.

Hannah completed a Master’s in Nonprofit Studies at the University of Richmond where she researched the history of refugee resettlement and the importance of upholding refugee rights through international law.  Hannah is passionate about helping others achieve their career goals and building careers they are passionate about.  She is excited to leverage her experience in workforce development to support Upwardly Global’s mission.
