Melanie Levine is a Manager within the Food & Agriculture Program at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). She has 10 years of experience in international development and sustainability, working across geographies and sectors.
Before arriving in Chicago, Melanie lived in Singapore, where she worked for WBCSD and lectured part-time at Nanyang Technological University. She also volunteered with women’s empowerment organizations such as Women in Agribusiness Asia and Lean In. Melanie is originally from Los Angeles, California, and holds a BA from the College of William and Mary as well as a MPAff from the LBJ School at the University of Texas at Austin. She loves reading, running, traveling, and learning, and is eager to explore Chicago since she’s new to town.
