Yvonne is a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for Wealth Markets at Union Bank. Prior to joining Union Bank, Yvonne was in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche serving clients across a broad range of industries and ranging from emerging-growth companies to large public companies. Yvonne grew up in Eugene, Oregon and earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Yvonne’s parents immigrated from Vietnam, as did a majority of her extended family. Her parents were a constant resource to relatives and friends immigrating to the U.S. in search of a better life. They shared their home, provided work opportunities, hosted international students and still continue to provide support to help immigrants rebuild their lives in the U.S. This parallel to Upwardly Global’s work is why Yvonne chose to get involved with the organization. She is passionate about serving the immigrant and refugee community and believes that diversity and inclusion in the workplace is crucial for success.
Yvonne was on the event committee for Upwardly Global’s Sweet Taste of Success gala and joined the Bay Area Leadership Council in 2018.
