Seattle Connect & Inspire: A Night of Community and Connection

Last week, the Upwardly Global community came together in Seattle for Connect & Inspire — an evening focused on connection and community.

Alumni, volunteers, staff, Leadership Council members, and friends from partner organizations like ReWA, YWCA, and Dress for Success Seattle gathered to share stories and get to know one another.

The night kicked off with an alumni spotlight and a candid Q&A, followed by an interactive activity led by Leadership Council member Busra Akdogan. Her facilitation sparked great conversations and encouraged deeper discussion.

A huge thank you to the Seattle Leadership Council members who made the evening happen:

  • Matthew Quinlan
  • Arika Allen
  • Busra Akdogan
  • Caroline Luzze, SHRM-SCP
  • Fiona Goodwillie
  • Karel M. Cleveland

And supporting from afar:

  • Jane Mareth
  • Jeremy Ross
  • Rumsha Siddiqui

Throughout the evening, people connected with intention. Alumni shared their experiences, partners explored new collaborations, and newcomers found their place in the community.

The energy is already building for the next gathering, and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
