Rachid is a Financial Analyst at the Edmonds Waterfront Center (EWC), a nonprofit connecting and strengthening communities through programs, services, and activities that engage, inspire, and support people of all ages. Prior to joining EWC, Rachid was Manager of the Finance & Controlling practice for Inetum, an international company focused on IT & Financial Consulting Services. Before pivoting to consulting, Rachid held executive roles in Financial Planning & Analysis in different single-family offices.
Rachid was introduced to Upwardly Global in 2019 when he immigrated to the United States from Morocco. He joined UpGlo during his job search and was immediately drawn by the organization’s mission to help skilled immigrants and refugees enter the professional workforce in their new country. Immediately after he landed his job, Rachid began volunteering and became a contributor. It was only a matter of time before he was ready to up his commitment to UpGlo and has joined the Leadership Council in 2021.
Rachid is passionate about giving back to the community and helping to open doors for the immigrants to build fruitful lives in the US. In his free time, Rachid loves to travel, debate new ideas on Twitter, cook Mediterranean food, and discover the beautiful parks of the PNW.
