Winita Lau is a Managing Director in Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group. She is currently responsible for business strategy execution, operating model design and transformation to optimize the bank’s comprehensive platform to deliver solutions for our customers’ needs. Her previous roles included establishing and developing client relationships, originating, structuring and closing balance sheet transactions, managing an over $1.5 billion loan portfolio, and coordinating investment banking products with Wells Fargo Securities teams.
Prior to joining Upwardly Global’s board, she was an active leader in the organization’s Chicago Leadership Council for over five years, helping to build its network of volunteers, employers and donors. She is a graduate of the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. As an avid dancer, she performs with and serves on the Advisory Committee of Tango 21 Dance Theater, a fiscally sponsored project of the non-profit Fractured Atlas, that uses the uniquely expressive art and discipline of Argentine tango to tell contemporary stories.
