I wanted to share my positive experiences as a volunteer with your organization, which I truly believe contributes to promoting world peace.

I initially began volunteering as a mentor about 20 years ago here in San Francisco. During that time, I had the privilege of mentoring individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Mexico City, Russia, and Mongolia. I was consistently inspired by everyone I had the opportunity to connect with.

After a break of ten years, I recently resumed my volunteer work and have been impressed by the organization's evolution. The updates and streamlined processes are evident, and the new volunteer training and onboarding program has been incredibly helpful and informative. I am already learning a great deal.

I've been a volunteer since 2020. Like many volunteers, I find a real sense of happiness and achievement in helping others — but for me, it’s even more than that. This journey has helped me discover my own values and passion.
