What is the Career Coaching Program?

Upwardly Global’s free Career Coaching Program helps immigrant, refugee, and asylee professionals rebuild their careers in the U.S. We provide customized coaching, job-readiness training, and networking opportunities so you can successfully return to your professional field.

With our support, you will:

  • Identify the right career opportunities.
  • Plan your career pathway.
  • Build a U.S.-style resume and prepare for interviews.
  • Access free courses and certifications.
  • Join networking events with top U.S. employers.

Our coaches are available to meet you in person or online for up to 12 months of your job search.

Is there a cost to use Upwardly Global’s resources?

No. Our program is free for those who qualify, thanks to grants and donations from our funders.

Who can join the Career Coaching Program?

You are eligible if you:

  • Arrived in the U.S. within the last 10 years.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or professional training equivalent.
  • Have intermediate or advanced English skills.
  • Are currently not working in your professional field.
  • Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.
  • Have work authorization through any one of these visas.

Applicants may live anywhere in the U.S.
