R.J. Fox is the Chief Marketing Officer at Teaching Strategies, the most widely used provider of early childhood curriculum, assessment, professional development, and family engagement solutions. Central to his work is helping ensure that customers, educators, and the children they serve achieve the best outcomes possible.
A growth-oriented go-to-market executive, R.J. has more than 20 years of experience building and scaling marketing teams in the software industry. He spent 13 years at LinkedIn in leadership roles across its Marketing organization. Most recently, he led Marketing for LinkedIn’s Talent business, helping reaccelerate growth in the company’s global, multi-billion-dollar business serving talent and hiring professionals. Previously, he led LinkedIn’s Growth, Performance & Operations organization, driving growth across both its consumer and enterprise businesses. He also held leadership roles in Product and Growth Marketing, including helping launch and scale LinkedIn Learning and leading Product Marketing for LinkedIn Recruiter.
Prior to LinkedIn, R.J. was a Senior Analyst at Korn Ferry International, where he supported strategic growth initiatives for the Financial Officers Practice.
Throughout his career, R.J. has gravitated toward purpose-driven organizations and work that expands access to opportunity. In addition to serving on the board of Upwardly Global, he has served as an advisor to Ameelio, a nonprofit using technology to help transform America’s correctional system.
R.J. received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He has two young kids, is an avid music fan currently trying to learn piano, and can occasionally be found on a river getting outsmarted by the local fish population.
