Alexis is a highly accomplished technology and risk executive with over three decades of experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Throughout his career, he has bridged the gap between complex technical problems and strategic risk governance. His leadership spans critical domains including cybersecurity, technology risk, resiliency, third-party operational risk, and artificial intelligence.
Alexis’s personal and professional journey deeply aligns with Upwardly Global’s mission. Born in Cyprus, Alexis became a refugee at an early age, pursued his higher education in the United Kingdom, and later immigrated to the United States. As a global professional who successfully navigated the transition across international borders to build a world-class career in New York, Alexis brings firsthand understanding of the immense value, resilience, and potential that immigrant and refugee professionals contribute to the U.S. workforce. His career is a testament to how access to professional networks and opportunities can unlock extraordinary global talent.
Alexis also serves on the board of the FosterClub Foundation, the national network for youth in foster care. His experience in building strong organizations and his deep commitment to community advancement will be a tremendous asset to Upwardly Global as we continue to pursue our mission.
