Upwardly Global is delighted to welcome Chris Harrington, Partner at KKR, to its Board of Directors.
Chris has built his career over nearly 20 years at KKR, a leading global investment firm, where he is a Partner in the firm’s Americas Private Equity platform and serves on its Investment Committee. He heads the Financial Services industry team, guiding investments across diverse financial services businesses and helping portfolio companies achieve sustainable growth.
Throughout his tenure, Chris has developed deep expertise in strategic planning, governance, and organizational leadership. His work centers on creating resilient enterprises and fostering a positive impact in the communities they serve.
Originally from Connecticut, Chris now resides in New York City with his family. He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Harvard, graduating magna cum laude from Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
Chris traces his family’s roots to multiple countries and he is drawn to Upwardly Global’s work expanding access to meaningful employment for immigrant and refugee professionals. Chris’s experience in building strong organizations and his commitment to community advancement will be a tremendous asset to Upwardly Global as we continue to pursue our mission.
