On May 22, 2025, Upwardly Global hosted a special public board meeting titled “Leading Through Disruption: Supporting Immigrants in a Challenging Environment.”

For over two decades, Upwardly Global has been a beacon of support for internationally trained professionals seeking to rebuild their careers in the United States. Since 2000, we’ve helped nearly 13,000 skilled immigrants from 179 countries navigate the path to meaningful employment and contribute their talents to the U.S. economy.

Throughout economic downturns, shifting policies, and global crises, we’ve continuously adapted our approach while remaining steadfast in our mission.

The session brought together leading voices in immigrant workforce development. CEO Jina Krause-Vilmar moderated the discussion, joined by guest speakers Nikki Cicerani, Senior Partner at SYPartners and former President and CEO of Upwardly Global, and Monica Munn, Chief Social Impact Officer at World Education Services.

Couldn’t make it to the live session? The recording is now available, offering valuable insights on building a more resilient and inclusive workforce during times of uncertainty and challenge:
