Tanner, a leading force in refugee hiring and inclusion, Mindi has dedicated her career to fostering workplace cultures that connect employees with a deeper sense of purpose and impact. Her accolades, including Silicon Slopes’ Chief People Officer of the Year in 2023 and recognition by the Stevie® Awards and Utah Business Magazine, underscore her commitment to excellence.
Mindy has championed Upwardly Global’s work-based learning for refugees. Most recently, O.C. Tanners’ Influence Greatness Conference showcased Upwardly Global and NewYork-Presbyterian’s collaboration, which was designed to bring immigrant and refugee talent into the healthcare industry. Leveraging her global network and expertise, Mindi aims to continue raising awareness on workforce inclusion and connecting people around Upwardly Global’s mission. She has already been featured in the media to highlight what companies can do to support refugee inclusion in the workforce.
