After 25 years of championing the dreams and careers of immigrant, refugee, and asylee professionals, Upwardly Global (UpGlo) is entering a new chapter, one that honors our history while embracing the future. In 2025, we embarked on a transformative rebranding initiative that reflects not only who we are today, but who we are committed to becoming.

Our new branding is warm, inviting, and bold. The refreshed color palette honors the vibrancy of the internationally trained professionals who entrust us with their career journeys. Our new logo is a visual nod to a truth our jobseekers know intimately: there is no straight path to rebuilding a career or dream in a new country. The curves and movement embedded in our design represent the twists, turns, and triumphs of that lived experience. 

This rebrand also makes space for something we’ve known internally for years: Upwardly Global has become an ecosystem. To better reflect that, we are proud to formally introduce the three interconnected branches that now make up our organization: UpGlo Direct, UpGlo Connect, and UpGlo Talent

Each pillar plays a vital and distinct role in our mission, and now each has its own dedicated branding and logo. Together, they represent the many pathways through which we support immigrant professionals as they return to the careers they love, contribute to their industries, and create generational impact for their families.

Our visual upgrade includes a new website. With updated user experience, improved accessibility, and streamlined content, the new site makes it easier for jobseekers, employers, partners, and supporters alike to engage with UpGlo’s work and find the resources they need.

While our visual identity is transforming, our core mission remains unchanged. We are still the same organization that began around a kitchen table in San Francisco 25 years ago, fueled by hope, guided by commitment, and grounded in community. We remain dedicated to breaking down the barriers that keep internationally trained professionals from thriving in the U.S. workforce. We will always be driven by the belief that when immigrant talent succeeds, the entire country grows stronger.

We still envision building a workforce that recognizes and values global experience, where talent has no borders.
